Jewelry with a Cause
I am a single stay at home mom of two boys, 12 and 6. All my life I aspired to be a professional equestrian until my youngest son was diagnosed with autism. Logan was a smiling, chatty 18 month old until he received the MMR vaccine which basically became the catalyst of his underlying autism. My son’s communication skills were halted and he stopped speaking for over a year. At this point I decided to put my career on hold to try to learn all I could about his disability.
I needed a way to support my family and decided to tackle a new product idea that I had been thinking about for a long time…making acupressure wristbands. I could not believe that no one ever found a way to make them functional and beautiful. I experimented with different designs for years until finally I created something that I am proud of. I call them Jewelry with a Cause… Rogue Bracelets.
